Terms and Conditions

Last updated 21 October 2026

These terms apply when you book sessions with us. Bright Minds Learning Co. is a trading name of Fatima Kinteh, a sole trader based in Oldbury. You can contact us at [email protected] or by WhatsApp.

What we provide

Small-group tuition in a relaxed home setting in Oldbury for children aged 4–14, covering Maths, SPAG, reading and writing. Groups are arranged by school year and have up to 8 children. We will tell you the address when you book.

Free trial

Each child can have one free 2-hour trial session. There is no obligation to continue. If your child misses their trial, we will offer one more date. Trial places are limited, with at most 2 trial children in each group, and are subject to availability.

Prices and payment

Attendance, missed sessions and rescheduling

Things can come up. Please tell us as early as possible if your child cannot attend, and we ask for at least 24 hours' notice wherever possible. We will do our best to arrange a catch-up session, subject to availability.

Your right to cancel

If you book online or by message, you normally have 14 days from booking to cancel without giving a reason. If you ask us to start sessions within those 14 days, you must pay for the sessions already provided up to the time you cancel. Any refund is paid within 5 to 10 business days.

Refunds

If you stop part-way through a block, we'll refund the sessions you haven't used. Sessions already attended are charged at the pay-as-you-go price of £35, so your refund is what you paid minus £35 for each session attended.

If we have to cancel a session and can't offer a catch-up, we'll refund that session. Refunds are paid within 5 to 10 business days.

Our responsibilities

We will provide sessions with reasonable care and skill. We can't guarantee particular results, because progress depends on many things, but we will do our best to support each child.

Safeguarding, behaviour and safety

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, please tell us at [email protected] and we will try to put it right.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
